Changing a Study setting for multiple Combination charts

I have 10 Combination charts for the 10 S&P sectors in a chartbook. I would like to change the RSI setting on all the charts at one time. I tried to link them and checked studies but it changed all the combination studies to the same symbols. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

There is not a way to change just one study when you have the studies linked.

We are not sure why your combination charts are changing, you would need to look at how it is set when you update the other study.

The combination charts are changing because when I link them they change all the studies when I change just the RSI setting.

Is there not a way to change just the RSI setting days to calculate for all the charts at once?

Thanks

When you link the Studies, it is all the studies. There is not a way to just have some studies linked (or one).

You might want to use the Study Collection instead, this way when you change one study, you would save that study as a Study Collection and then apply it to the other charts. It's not as nice as the linking, but will make things a bit easier than doing each one by one. Refer to the following - in particular note the option to save the Study Collection and get prompted to remove or keep, the other studies:
Study Collections

When I select Get Prompted To Remove or Keep, the other studies, the chart ends up having 2 Combination chart studies and 2 volume studies. Is this the only way to accomplish this?

Thanks

You need to save the Study Collection with just the one RSI study, not all the studies in the chart.

When I save the Study Collection with just the one RSI study and apply the Study Collection to a chart, the chart now has 2 RSI studies.

Yes, this will be the case. So you would have to remove the other one. There is not a better solution for what you are trying to do.
