Hey guys,

=AND(ID12.SG1,C>=SG1) is not successful, if I try to implement the following plan:

Please take a look at the attached picture.

I don't know why I can't get this to work logically.

Thank you in advance!

Marco

Offhand, the one thing we would say to try is to enable the option for Reset Alert Condition on New Bar. Keep in mind that a condition has to be False and then go to True to activate. It does look like this should be the case, but unless you have a specific reason not to use this option, try this first.

If that does not work, then you would need to use the logging option to see what occurred. Enable the option for Log Evaluated Formula at Each Evaluation and take a look at your Alert Manager to see what is occurring.

Refer to the information for these options here:

Wow. I am really glad and very grateful for your detailed explanation which I did not realize. But I am not sure if my conditions are correct at all.
Im a good analyst, i am not in the least familiar with excel and co, therefore:

Would you mind to take a closer lok at my idea and tell me whether the alert condition is the right one for my idea?

Thanks john!

What you are wanting to do will work. Just keep in mind that the Volume Threshold Alert starts at the low of the bar and then tests upwards, so when you are testing against the first alert, it will be the lowest price in the bar at which any alert has occurred.
