I'm getting the incorrect COVID low of 247 for DIA from SC when the correct low is 181.2 (https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1679299893640.png). The thread was locked in Incorrect High for DIA (Dow Industrial Average) where I showed the incorrect high in the DIA so I was unable to respond. I believe data integrity is a high priority for traders so I am continuing this discussion. You stated there that, "The data is what it is and it is not within our control and there is no time that we will spend on this whatsoever." You are the data provider and should be responsible for providing correct data. Can you not direct the issue upstream? It should not be an unreasonable request to ask for correct financial data from SC, especially for one of the most important tickers of all time. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-03-21 10:07:17

Try symbol DIA-NQTV and post what you see.

Regarding the DIA symbol. We thought you were referring to a FXCM CFD based on the description. In case of a stock we can remove what looks like an range tick, but was an actual trade from the tape authority. This is all.

Thanks for trying to help me and not locking the thread so that I can receive help. I tried loading DIA again on the same SC instance that gave me the 247 low. Now it is magically giving me the correct low (https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1679391851839.png) but is still giving me the incorrect high. It looks like COVID crash dates were being skipped in the previous DIA chart and that the data was corrupted and continued being corrupted despite using the Delete ALL Data and Download button. Interestingly, on another instance of SC, It looks like I was able to get the correct DIA chart (https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1679392311571.png). I have very little trust in the data I'm receiving until this issue is resolved. Please advise on how I can get consistent data. I also observed similar anomalies using the DIA-NQTV ticker as User90125 suggested. |

Ok. The difference between the two instances mentioned above was one using the evening session and the other not. Getting the incorrect low (skipping dates) is still mysterious to me. "Regarding the DIA symbol. We thought you were referring to a FXCM CFD based on the description. In case of a stock we can remove what looks like an range tick, but was an actual trade from the tape authority." I think this should be removed since neither TV nor Bar Chart is showing this high and it would be helpful to get chart data that matches what everyone else is seeing and basing their trades on.
