Hi, i just opened a new topstep account using sierra chart. i've followed the steps topstep provides but i'm getting error messages still when trying opening charts. i get 'Exchange not specified Check for symbol information. and 2nd one 'Download failed, Error downloading historical intraday data for NQM23-CME. Exchange not specified.

i am new to sierra chart so this could be a super easy fix but im completely lost so some help would be great, i think i have done everything in terms of paying for things.

Most likely it is just the wrong symbols, as you specify that one message is stating "...NQM23-CME", but Rithmic uses a period in between the symbol and the exchange, so it should be "NQM23.CME".

Open your Chartbook(s) and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. That should resolve it. Then when you need to open a new symbol, make sure you select it from the File >> Find Symbol window in order to ensure that you have the correct format.
