Hello I activated my trial this morning, but I cannot see any historical data for instance for reply of data coming in for mini S&P 500 on the DOM. All i see is a blank black screen even though i have loaded a chartbook

Your account has been activated and the usage time extended if necessary. If Sierra Chart is running, it will automatically be activated within about three minutes. However, you may need to exit from the Sierra Chart charting and trading software by selecting "File >> Exit". And then open Sierra Chart through the icon on your desktop or through the desktop Start menu. I had shut down by computer and restarted after 20 mins of my posting. It did not work. Its now 6 hours installation Sierra Chart is still not active with the historical data for instance for reply of data coming in for mini S&P 500 on the DOM. All i see is a blank black screen even though i have loaded a chartbook. Have I done something wrong during installation? Can I reinstall again with new activation number ?

Do not reinstall, that will not do anything. If you received the Chartbook from somewhere, then you probably need to update the symbols so they are correct for your current service. Select Edit >> Translate Symbols to New Service. If this is your chartbook, created by selecting File >> Find Symbol and opening a chart through that method, then we would need to see your Message Log by following these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". Hello. Thank you for coming back, I as opening the charts that came with the trial. by using Edit >> Translate Symbols to New Service i can now see the charts on screen. How do i see the DOM ?

There are two DOM options - Chart DOM and Trading DOM. The Chart DOM is a DOM attached to the chart. To view this select Trade >> Trading Chart DOM On. The Trading DOM is a standalone DOM. The easiest way to open it is to have a chart active for the symbol for which you want the Trading DOM and then select File >> Open Trading DOM for Chart. Otherwise, you can select File >> Open Trading DOM which will bring up the Find Symbol window, where you can select the symbol and then select the button for Open Trading DOM.
