On some stocks the charts freeze. The Bid and Ask are correct on the chart, yet the candlesticks do not update. The charts that freeze are identical to those that are working.I have also deleated and reloaded many times. the charts update and then freeze. I use IB data feed. Refer to help topic 3 here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails3.html Most likely this is an issue with the Interactive Brokers data feed. Dear Sierra charting, I get really frustrated at the stock answer of its the IB data feed for all problems. The data seems to be fine. I have 12 stocks open right now on my screen. 11 are working. One is not. The chart itself is not updating. The quote board is correct. The trading chart Dom shows the correct price yet the chart itself does not move. I delete and download data from point on the chart. The chart will update and then freeze again. I do a Delete ALL and download same as from point on chart.I input the stock into a chart that is working with another stock same thing. I manually delete the scid file and reload the stock same thing. The chart will load to current quote and freeze. I have rechecked everything in topic 3 all are set as recommended. What should the next step be. Bob |

And we get frustrated with IB problems. This does sound like an IB data issue with the way that it is described. Sounds like you are using IB true real-time data. Whatever the problem is, it is answered in help topic 3: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails3.html We recommend referring to help topic 3.11: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails3.html#h3.11 And disabling IB the true real-time data option. You may want to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. If you are not using the Interactive Brokers True Real-time Data option , the only other thing we would recommend which is not documented in help topic 3, is to completely delete the chart data file: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ChartDataFiles.html#DeletingCharts After this open a chart again for the symbol.
