Orders rejected for Interactive Brokers

Recent orders that I have been sending in through Sierra Charts are being rejected by Interactive Brokers. The error message is, "RirmQuoteOnly order attribute is not supported. Error code 10269.

I have searched support boards without success.

Appreciate any assistance you can provide.

We have not seen this before and have no idea what it means. You would have to ask IB what this particular message means.

But, the one thing we can tell you is that IB made some changes a few months ago and as such you need to ensure that you are on the most recent versions of both the Sierra Chart and the IB software (the most recent "Stable" version of the IB software). Make sure this is the case first to ensure that this is not related to these previous changes.

Great! I verified that I am running the most up-to-date TWS. I then updated Sierra Charts. The issue is now resolved. The orders placed to Interactive Brokers are going through.

PS: the original message I sent had a typo in it, the error message from Interactive Brokers was saying "FirmQuoteOnly order attribute is not supported". Making this change so the next guy searching the boards can find this thread.
