The Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed now includes US Equities Data. If you have already activated this data feed on your account you can add the US equities exchange here: https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=MarketDataFeedFeatures The exchange fees are 10.50 USD per month. This includes NYSE and NASDAQ. You will be required to sign the NYSE and NASDAQ exchange agreements. If you are not using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed currently, you can get set up by following these instructions: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php To receive US equities data requires you run the latest Sierra Chart prerelease. You can update with Help >> Download Prerelease. We did have small issues initially with the equities data but these are now all resolved and this exchange is now ready for general use. Some notes about the US equities data: -It is a separate connection from futures data so it is isolated from futures data to prevent any performance issues with futures data. -You can use the futures data from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed in one instance of Sierra Chart and the equities data in another instance. This will work without requiring a second market data feed connection. Or you can use the data from a single instance depending upon what Service you have selected in Sierra Chart and the exchanges you want to get data for. -You can receive this data independently from any trading service by selecting the "SC Exchange Data" Service in Sierra Chart. -Symbol limits: If your market data feed account only has equities enabled, then you can track up to 100 symbols in real-time. If you are market data feed account has equities and futures, you can track 90 stock symbols and 35 futures and index symbols. -The Historical Intraday Minute data goes back to September 2011, assuming a stock was trading back then. -The historical Intraday Tick data begins on 2014-05-28. We will see about this. It depends upon how much demand there is for the US equities data. The problem is it takes a lot of disk space for 8000+ stocks. More than likely though, the tick data will accumulate to about three months before it is compressed into higher time frames. You can keep it in another server in compress mode for back fill purpose. Even in compression during data transmit to reduce bandwidth. I think peoples are willing to pay for additional on this kind of institution level data if they need it.

Great news - I can stop using Interactive Brokers. Do you have any plans for European equities? I understand the market is much more fragmented here, but you can get the important stocks by providing Xtra, Euronext, Bolsa Madrid and BMVE (Italy). That would cover pretty much all of the Stoxx50 index.

I have just signed the US Equity feed and installed the pre release of SC. How now do I get the data? Do I need a second instance of SC and change the data provider (from AMP) to SC? Or will it work with Amp + SC DF futures + US Stock? Because FS wont show any equities.

Hi, I am having the same issue - I subscribed, but there doesnt appear to be a mapping between the IB symbols and your service setup. Also, just connecting to the SC Exchange doesnt give me any ideas on how to enter the name of the stock - what is the format?

The Sierra Chart US equities data feed does work with Interactive Brokers. Open a chart for MSFT . You just use the standard stock symbols. You should see a chart with [M] after the symbol. I did download 2mins before posting. OK, so this means I DO need a second instance of SC, right? I can not have the equities together with a futures broker service and the SC futures data, right? Why actually not? Could be just an other point when pressing FS, just like cash indices and market internals.

Yes. You can use a second instance of Sierra Chart to use the SC Exchange Data service. We added support for using stock symbols with TT FIX. Restart Sierra Chart to get the updated symbol settings. You will not see stock symbols listed, you just need to manually enter them when using File >> Find Symbol. These are the standard NASDAQ and NYSE stock symbols. We could support 300 symbols but this will require some additional set up on our side and we cannot get to it right now. Yes we can support a professional status, but that requires I think paper agreements to be filled out and higher fees. This also requires some set up on our side. Is it possible to just get just and only the NYSE and Nasdaq Equity Data Feed for $10.50 per month. I am getting Futures Data from Rithmic, and because I clear through Crossland I am not able to get Equities data feed from them? I do not need a duplicate Futures data feed, I would just like to get the NYSE and Nasdaq Equity Data Feed? I do not trade Equities - I only need the real time price and volume data. The cost is 35 USD per month + 10.50 USD per month for the exchange fee. It is not possible to get US equities for less than this through the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. You might be able to get NYSE and NASDAQ through the Rithmic system because they support the BATS exchange. You do not have to pay extra for this market if you are using Interactive Brokers. Follow the set up instructions here to use Sierra Chart with IB: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/IB.php The Russell 2000 trades on the ICE US exchange. If you want to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for this symbol, then you have to pay extra for it. The total cost would be about 130 USD a month.
