Just wondering if I need to do something or if this was a planned restart on your end. Everything appears to be working correctly right now.

There was an issue around that time with one of our data servers. As long as you are fine now, you do not need to do anything.

Thanks John. I would like to talk with you about paying for some custom features, can you please accept me for DM?

Sorry, but we simply do not have the time to do custom work right now.

There is a list of programmers that could help you if what you want can be done in ACSIL. Refer to the following:

It's actually not about programming work. I saw in a old post where you said SC could, for a fee, decrease the Remote Buffer Delay Send Time down beyond 20ms if certain conditions were met. Is this something that you are willing to discuss? Thanks

No that is not something we are able to do. It would create problems. Unless you are accessing the data feed locally within the data center itself.

I believe you guys are in Aurora? I am in Steadfast (Cermak) and have 1ms ping to the SC servers. Is that fast enough or do I need to be in Aurora?

I tried locating in Aurora with your provider, but they wanted me to switch to their FCM before they would consider providing a VPS. I am willing to move my VPS if 1ms is too much latency.

For market data we are just not able to deliver that, with 1 or 2 ms latency. The best we can really achieve would be more in the area of about 15 ms.

You really have to go to the CME multicast feeds directly.

We can help you with that.

Can you please DM me with the details of what can be done? I am interested in learning more. By the way, I know you guys are extremely busy, so it's not something I need done immediately. I am ok if it takes awhile to implement.

Any update on this? Any idea on cost?

Sorry about the delay. What we can do is provide you a version of Sierra Chart for access to the direct multicast feeds from the CME. And then those feeds can be fed into other instances of Sierra Chart for trading. But you would need to have a server in a data center like Aurora or CH1 where you can access the feeds and you would also have to pay for the feeds (This is 1000 USD a-month). The co-location of the server I think would be a cost of about 1000- 1500 a month.

And also for this configuration there would be a minimum amount to pay Sierra Chart of about 100 USD a-month.

I am not sure if there is any other costs associated with the direct CME feeds.

Do you know if Cermak can access the feed? If not, I'll start working on getting a server in one of the locations you mentioned.

What do you anticipate a reasonable buffer delay/update interval can be achieved using this setup?
