getting frequent errorcode 32 in my alert manager. what does it mean error32?

We really need to see the exact text of the error you are getting. Please either copy and paste, or give a screenshot of what you are seeing. A Windows Error 32 is the following: ERROR_SHARING_VIOLATION Which means that a file is already in use by another program. But we do not see how this would apply with an Alert, unless you happened to have the sound file in use in another program. But this is why we need to see the entire message. sorry the error the errorcode32 Iwas getting was in my message log not the alert manager. does that help or do you still need copies of the messages I I tried to locate them today, but none were seen today.. How do I get yesterday's nessages if you still need copies?

If it occurred yesterday, then the information is no longer available. It's fine, but if you do have the issue again, be sure to send us your Message Log, or at least the section that contains that error, so we can see what is occurring.
