Hi,

I imported a chart book and found that the last date of data in the charts of chart book is 10/19/2022. I don't see data after that date.
Symbol is ESZ22.
I checked settings and I see that "Data range in file to" is set to 10/19. For my other charts, it is always today's date. But for the imported chart book, it is 10/19/2022 and I am not able to change it as it is read-only field.
Attached screenshot for your reference.
Tried other things and nothing worked.
Things I tried are:
1) Setting some dates in date range fields
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html#UseDateRangeFromTo
2) Disconnecting and connecting data
3) Did "Reload and Recalculate data"
4) Did "Delete all data and download"
None of the above worked.

Please advise. Please let me know if you need further information.

The date of your computer is set to October 19, 2022. Note the date in the Chart Header that is showing 2022-10-19, which is the current date taken from your computer.

That is an interesting observation. I am not sure where it is pulling from.
My computer date is fine.
Other charts from different chart books are working fine and showing correct date and time.

Only the charts in imported chart book are having this weird behavior. Is there any setting that is influencing date and time of this chart book locally.
Please let me know if you need further information.

There are no settings within Sierra Chart that would set the date like that.

Please attach one of the Chartbooks to this thread for us to take a look at it and see if we can figure out where that is coming from. Follow the instructions at the following link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

When you are attaching the file you can make it Private so only you and Sierra Chart Admins can see it, if that is necessary.

We are not able to see the issue when we open the chartbook.

But, we see that your Current Selected Service is set to Teton Order Routing and the symbols that you have for these charts are not the correct ones for this service.

Open the chartbook(s) that you received from someone else and then select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service.

Let us know if this does not resolve your issue.

Hi, issue is resolved. Thanks for your help.
Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service did the trick.
Although I did not understand the root cause, I am glad, you found solution.
Thanks again.

It's hard to explain, but the underlying issue is caused by different symbols being used for different services and those chartbooks had the wrong symbols in them.

We do not see this date in the screenshots in post #1:
The date of your computer is set to October 19, 2022. Note the date in the Chart Header that is showing 2022-10-19,

The system date and time would only be seen on the title bar of the main Sierra Chart window. The screenshots do not show this.
