When I go to the set tab, it will not let me change the default quantities from 1-6 to new values. It seems like I may have a global setting that I need to change, but I can't find how to change that either. Please help

See pic- will not let me type in a new value here...

The only thing we can think of as to why you would not be able to enter values in those fields is if you are trying to enter the numbers from the Number Pad, but you do not have the Num Lock on. Be sure to try and enter the values using the number keys at the top of the keyboard (not on the Number Pad).

Also, try to reboot the computer and see what happens after that. We can only think that this would be an operating system issue, as that window is very standard Microsoft and there simply should not be any reason you can not enter values.

How can I change the default quantities? If you can show me that then I'll be good too.

We can not think of any reason why you can not change the quantities in that window.

We see that you can remove the information that is in there, which means you can click in the field and use backspace to delete what is in there. The implication is that you should be able to type in a number.

Click in the field and try to type anything from the keyboard, such as 'aaa' or 'bbb'. It should show those in the field you are editing. Let us know if this works or not.
