Problems with Sierra Chart connections on the second computer.

Hello SC Team,

i`ve booked an additional system today. And however I start SC on the second computer it appears a popu pwith the message "Connection error message from service: CQG WebAPI Logon unsuccesful. Server message: Too fequent logon attempts. And at the first computer it appears the message: Connection error message from service: CQGWebAPI Received LoggedOffmessage. Reason: Your session was closed due a current session. And at the same time it disconnects also the connection of the first computer. What I´m doing wrong ? It`s necessary and possible to have remote assistance for setting up this settings ? Please let me know. Many thanks in advance. Best regards

CQG does not support two simultaneous connections.


You need to move to Teton order routing to support multiple connections:

If you want real-time data on two systems at the same time you need to pay a second exchange fee. You can control this from here:

Many thanks for this information. Could you make this changes for me from CQG to Teton ? And how much it will cost me in total ? If not could you write down the steps which i have to do. How can I quit CQG Data feed for example? can we do this togehter in a remote assistance session ? I would pay for it. Thank you

And as I understand Teton order Routing is not possible with AMP Futures Broker ? Right

AMP does not support the Teton Order Routing at this time.

Teton order routing will be coming soon to AMP. We do not know the timing but is probably not worth it at this time moving your trade account.

Okay many thanks. So I'll wait until Teton Routing will come also to AMP.

We have turned off the additional system and refunded the $12.00 back to your account.

Note that by default you have the ability to run Sierra Chart on 3 different computers at the same time. The additional system you added gave you a 4th computer. So this was not something you needed.
