Hi,

I have a recently renewed (2) package which allowed me to access historical and data feed last month. This time after I renewed, I can't seem to connect to the feed, the log gives me this error:

Your current service package does not support this function. Select 'Help >> Account Control Panel' to change your package. | 2014-05-17 09:32:26

As far as I know, package (2) should include historical and live data feed for bitcoins. What seems to be the problem?

Restart Sierra Chart and make sure the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service is set to "Bitcoin Data (All Services)".

We have done a test and we do not see a problem on the current version.

Thanks for the response. The Bitcoin Data is (not enabled on package) which is strange.

After many restarts on the application, a window to display notices or warning popped-up with unrelated message to the issue and the data feed finally connected. It's probably a bug in the application.

I will try to document it better once it happens again to help resolve the issue next time. Thanks

We would be very very doubtful there is a bug. Most likely the problem was there was not a successful login to the server getting the updated authorizations.

This can happen even if you can still log into Sierra Chart. There has never been a bug like this where the authorizations were received and you did not get access to a service paid for.

I see. In any case, is there a detailed log I can submit or check when this happens again?

When this happens it would be best to show us the Sierra Chart Message Log by following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#log

We do not expect it would happen again unless the usage time ends. If it were to happen again, restart Sierra Chart and enable the "Force Login" checkbox on the login window before logging in. And let us know if it does happen.
