I have a few questions regarding the trade window: 1- Is there an option to flatten at bid or ask? 2- Is there a way to have buttons to buy/sell the low/high of the last bar? 3- Is there a way to have buttons to buy/sell the close of the last bar? Thank you for your time in advance. |

There are no built-in buttons to do any of what you are asking for. But you can create a custom study to do this. Refer to the information starting here: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello, I am trying to follow the instructions on the page to create the above mentioned custom studies for trading and I get an error message upon trying to open any of the templates. Please see screenshots attached. Also, after rollover of contracts, the drawings disappeared from linked charts even though the "Also Rollover Chart Drawing Symbols" was checked. Attempted to fix it with : "Update Chart Drawings To Current Symbol". That brought over a few of the drawings from one chart but not all. The ones it brough over were not in the correct position. "Manage Chart Drawings Symbol" Adjust button did not help. Please advise. Thank you |

That error means that your setting for Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Text Editor Path and Filename is not set correctly. If you do not have Notepad++ installed on your system separately, then this setting should reference the Notepad++ executable that we send with Sierra Chart. It is located under the Main Sierra Chart installation folder in a folder named NPP. The executable is notepad++.exe If you installed Sierra Chart to the top of your C: drive, then the path and filename for the Notepad++ editor would be the following: C:\SierraChart\NPP\notepad++.exe Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Text Editor Path and Filename (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Files and Folder Paths) -- We do not know about the drawings, but if you have a lot of drawings being copied between charts, then you would need to ensure that you select the Update Chart Drawings To Current Symbol for each chart to ensure they all get updated. The Adjust button on the Manage Chart Drawings should work. It allows you to enter a value for which the drawing will be moved up or down.
