Hi I have a Funded (PA) Apex Trader Funding account and am trying to use that with Sierra Chart. Ideally, i would like to only use Sierra chart to Chart and have all my trades route through Ninja Trader. I am on package 11 and if what im reading is correct, i need to purchase the Denali Data Feed (11$). Once i purchase the denali feed, i will need to Connect once a month (following this link Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees) ? Is this correct? |

Yes this is correct. Our understanding Apex uses Rithmic, so refer to the instructions on this page: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you for the quick response! the only thing im worried about is with Apex Trader Funding, i am still connecting to Rithmic Paper Trading - Chicago Area- Non-Aggregated server. Will this cause issue to get live data + historical from Denali?

No but you do need to connect to your funded trading account once a month to authorize the CME Group data. Information about that is here: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. - Notice: To continue to receive real-time CME data through the Denali Exchange Data Feed when using the lower-priced CME exchange fees which are enabled on your account, requires that you connect Sierra Chart to your live trading account at least once a month. For instructions, refer to: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees hello i use Apex with rithmic, everything was OK until yerstaday the data was stopped , maybe because my CQG login is disabled ? please help me because in few days my test terminate and i need to resolve this problem |

As far as I understand, Apex (PA) funded account is not a real account : it is a simulation account which is paid. https://support.apextraderfunding.com/hc/en-us/articles/5443077251611-Are-performance-accounts-live- "We use live data for performance accounts. Initially they are in SIM but you still get paid the same way this is because many traders may blow a performance account quickly. So this is done to protect the company and you as a customer. One we see consistency we copy the trades via api in a prop account. Once we see long term consistency you are placed into a live prop account." That's probably the reason why you connect to Rithmic Paper Trading. I'm not sure you'll get reduced fee CME data this way, as you could do with a genuine real account with you usual broker. |

Hi User877753, and nbvoice94, APEX Funding is not a Regulated Futures Broker, so an account with them does not meet the CME Group requirement for qualifying as a Non-Professional. You might consider setting up a Futures Trading Account at one of the Brokers listed in #2 here: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions If you already have a Futures Trading Account then you need to connect to it once a month to verify your Non-Professional status, as it relates to Real-time CME Group Data Exchange Fee through Denali. Could I use an AMP brokerage account for this purpose instead? Should work as long as there is at least $100 within the account correct? Or does it have to be one of the two brokerages listed? |

Yes, a Futures Trading Account would qualify you as a Non-Professional (assuming there was not some other reason why you are a Professional) You would need to re-complete the Market Data Agreements and be sure to include your new AMP Futures Trading Account Information; your "Clearing Firm" will be "AMP Futures" and your "Futures Trading Account Number" is something like "AC123456". https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements Then you need to connect Sierra Chart to your AMP Futures Trading Account in order to verify your Non-Professional status, for that AMP can provide you with the CQG WebAPI login credentials and with those in-hand, here are your set up instructions: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Also AMP has begun supporting Teton Order Routing, so you could use that to connect your Sierra Chart Account to your AMP Futures Account; AMP Futures can put you on the Teton Order Routing Service without Sierra Chart's intervention; when AMP Futures has added you to the Teton Order Routing Service, your set-up instructions begin with step #5 here: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions |
