Ok. That seems to have resolved the missing data issue. But why did this happen?? I only noticed because I was on a 9am call and disputed the other guy's numbers. I've lost a lot of time today dealing with this. I need to know how can I spot this sooner and how can I prevent this from happening. Was this issue isolated to me or were other users impacted? I'm using v.2411 |

If there is missing data in a chart, and it was at a time when Sierra Chart was not running or was not connected to the server, and it was not downloaded after connecting, it means there was a historical data download failure. All of the reasons for this are here: Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Error when Downloading Historical Intraday Data from the Sierra Chart Historical Data Server Follow the instructions here to enable saving of the Message Log so you can look back in the log files to see why there was a download failure: Message Log: Automatically Saving Message Log to File Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks for that info. I wasn't saving my message logs so I'm unable to see why this happened. I suspect it could be that I had a VPN on. I am now saving message logs and I will also check their real-time output as part of my morning routine when loading SC.
