If there is missing data in a chart, and it was at a time when Sierra Chart was not running or was not connected to the server, and it was not downloaded after connecting, it means there was a historical data download failure.

Follow the instructions here to enable saving of the Message Log so you can look back in the log files to see why there was a download failure:
