Hi. I have been using Rithmic data for years Yesterday it was working fine with Sierra Chart Today my account package was up for renewal and I paid for service package 5 as usual However now I can't use the Rithmic Data. It says "Rithmic trading (Not enabled on package)" It's the first time I've seen this problem How can I fix it? (p.s. this is actually a very dangerous situation, as I had a trade live before renewal. Now I can not close it. Fortunately it was on a prop firm simulation account so I won't lose real money) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-05-24 10:03:38

There has been a system notification message that you see when you start Sierra Chart about this. It links to: Service Package Changes | Discontinued External Services | Reducing Overall Costs Also refer to: Notice: Required Update for Rithmic Users (Version 2372, May 15, 2022) Your account has been provided access to package 12 for 30 days. So at this time you are all set. Later you will need to change to service Package 11: To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link. Or go to this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation You will need to login if you are not currently logged in. In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button. The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price. There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted. When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to. When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Refer to the prior post. We also see you are running an unsupported version. You need to update. We have not yet locked out access to the version you running but we will be doing that this week. More information: Notice: Required Update for Rithmic Users (Version 2372, May 15, 2022) You will have received a support ticket about this, and also an email message. Hi, My account is package 3. If I want to use "SpotEx Trading - DTC (Not enabled on package)", which service package should I pay for? Thank you. |

In order to connect to any data and/or trading service you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. Refer to the following: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages But the SpotEx connection is only for a special group that is controlled by a company out of Toronto. It is not setup for general customer use. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
