Hi its impossible to set up a ES chart with daily volume profiles, i start chart, add the study and configure it, then if i scroll back to few months back the platfrom freezes and crashes, and i can't even close it, i have to go to task manager on Windows to shut it down. I have the latest version 2393 and a powerful PC. What can be the problem ? Thanks |

We wonder if you might have some bad data from CQG from a few months back. To ensure that all the data is from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, please have the chart that is giving you issues active, then select Edit >> Delete All Data and Download. If you are given a selection of contracts to choose from to redownload, be sure you Select All. After the data redownloads and populates, see if you continue to have an issue. Hi Thanks for your reply. I checked all that. The purpose of me trying to use the volume profile, is to see where the POC's are from previous volume profiles, up to 3 years ago for example. So if i set the volume profile to "multiple profiles set on fixed time" and set the fixed time to 1 day, or 1 week, or 1 month, the problem is it does not let me scroll back more than 1 year. The other struggle i'm finding is hot to actually scroll back? if i drag the bottom scale right and left it doesn't work properly. How can i have it set as close as possible to TradingView style? in other works scroll with the mouse wheel while having the chart values tool on ? I really like Sierra but at the moment i am wasting a lot of time to simply have a chart with volume profiles on it. Waiting to hear from you, perhaps you could tell me the best settings for what i'm trying to achieve, i mean the ticker is ES and almost everyone trades that. Thanks |

We want you to increase the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Tick Size by 100 or 1000 times and see if you still have a problem: So if i set the volume profile to "multiple profiles set on fixed time" and set the fixed time to 1 day, or 1 week, or 1 month, the problem is it does not let me scroll back more than 1 year. Add the scrollbar back to the chart and do not remove the scrollbar: The other struggle i'm finding is hot to actually scroll back? if i drag the bottom scale right and left it doesn't work properly.
