SC Package 10, order routing, through AMP Futures

I currently have SC pkg 3 + CQG data.... paid term expiring soon. I'm converting to SC pkg 10 with Denali Data Feed, but without Teton order routing (not available at AMP yet). Will SC do my order routing via other avenue than Teton now or will orders still be routed through CQG? Tks |

Since you are with AMP, your orders will continue to be routed through AMP. Nothing will change in that respect. You will just be adding the Denali data instead of the CQG data. Hello, Can I ask a follow-up question to this thread? For AMP futures clients who want to use Sierra Charts, is the absolute best configuration going to be: Sierra Charts + Denali Data Feed + Amp/CQG order routing? If so, does this mean we do not need to pay for live data with Amp, since we will be using the Denali Data feed? |

That configuration is really the only option with AMP, so it is the best you can do in this case. And yes, you do not need to pay for the CQG data through AMP since you are getting your data from us. Thank you John. Main reason I switched to Amp is their pretty cheap commissions, especially as a Canadian futures trader. Previous broker was okay (using NT8) but the commissions were getting out of hand. Aprox 50% cheaper with Amp... strictly a business decision. Looking forward to seeing what SC is all about! Cheers |

Hi, John! Does this mean that if I am with AMP and have the Denali data feed, I only need to pay $33/month for package 11? Under the Data/Trade Service Settings list, I am set up for the CQG Web API service, but if I'm reading your message right, I don't need this. If so, what would I change this setting to? Thank you! |

You pay $46.00 USD per month for the Service Package and $33.00 USD per month for the exchange fee. Under the Data/Trade Service Settings list, I am set up for the CQG Web API service, but if I'm reading your message right, I don't need this. If so, what would I change this setting to?
You do need to keep this as CQG Web API, that is still your trading service. You just need let AMP know that you do not want the CQG data. They will then turn that off for your account and you will not be charged for it through AMP. I just set this up as mentioned above but the only way my data works is if I set it to "SC Data" under Data/Trade Service Settings. I can connect to the CQG web API just fine but wondering how to confirm that order routing will work. At AMP, they have me set up as "CQG - No Data". Am I missing something? **** UPDATE **** I think I may have found the answer. blong5150: No, it is not about the SC Order Routing Service. That is our old service and is not supported with AMP. The first thing you need to do is to connect to your CQG account. To do this, follow these instructions: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Everything else about your account looks good, and you have the Denali feed setup correctly. The one thing we want to point out is that you only have the CME with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts activated. Keep in mind, this is the CME exchange, not the entire CME Group, which is composed of 4 exchanges - CME, COMEX, NYMEX, CBOT. If you are trying to open a chart for an instrument that is not on the CME exchange (such as CL - Crude Oil) then you will not get the real-time data. If you continue to have an issue after getting connected to your CQG account, then we would need to see your Message Log. You can get this to us by following these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".
