I'm not sure how to explain this, but when I changed the symbol from F.US.MESH22 to F.US.MESM22 I was left with the dates on the bottom projecting into the future by about 3 months which left a large blank space on the right side of the chart. I cannot find a way to correct this. I will attach an image, being that I am unsure if I am explaining myself right. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1647026171514.png

If you are unable to move the chart at all, then that would be because you have all the data in the chart already displayed. If you want to be able to see further back in time, then you would need to use a Continuous Futures Contract Chart. I can't move the chart at all, and I don't want to see farther back in time. I just don't want to see blank dates up to June 2nd. How do I make those future dates go away? My FILL SPACE is not locked either. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-03-11 20:22:09

You only have a limited amount of data due to the rollover, so you are seeing all there is for that symbol for the time period you have selected. There is not a way to "not show" the dates at the bottom, as it is filling in that information. But if you want to have less of it showing, then you need to expand your bar spacing so you have bars covering more area of the chart. Hi. Expanding the bar spacing made it tolerable, even though I now don't like the look of the chart quite as much. I use a Volume By Price study on the right-hand side of the chart, so I move the bars a bit to the left, (And lock the fill) space so they are not overlapping the volume profile. There are still three empty days to the right, but I guess I can live with that. Hopefully, they will disappear in three days. Thanks. |

You really need to do what is said in post #2 and use a Continuous Futures Contract chart. That is what you must do to properly solve this.
