Hello I left a trade overnight on micro CL with a sensible stop loss that would have stopped me out for approx. -$120. I have woken this morning to see that my stop has not been triggered and I have had to flatten the position for a loss of -$749. Could you please explain why my stop loss was not triggered, as you can imagine this is very disappointing. Thanks Chris |

In the morning, was the stop order still in a working/open state? Maybe it was a Pending Child-Client order when you exited from Sierra Chart? Or maybe it had a time in force of Day and was canceled before it could be filled? We definitely recommend you move from CQG to the Teton order routing service. Please do not use CQG. The way that bracket orders managed with CQG is not safe because the Target and Stop orders are not sent until the parent order fills. If you have to move to a different broker, then do that. Hi, I'm using teto routing. When I sent a stop order it goes on the server as a stop limit order. Why?
