From efficiently standpoint, is it better to overlay studies on another chart or create the same studies on multiple charts?
e.g.
Let's say I have chart #1 with basic things like OHLC/Open, VWAP, etc.
I then want to use these levels on chart #2,3,4,etc. Would it be better performance wise to overlay them and point to chart #1 or to add standalone studies on each chart?

Thanks!

The distinction between these two approaches will only be relevant if a study has a long processing time whenever it is called. In that case, you would only want to run the study on chart 1 and then use the overlays to copy the study's newly written subgraph values to other charts.

Having said that, it would surprise me if you have any studies with long enough processing time for there to be a meaningful difference in performance either way you go.

This will be best:
or to add standalone studies on each chart?
