The distinction between these two approaches will only be relevant if a study has a long processing time whenever it is called. In that case, you would only want to run the study on chart 1 and then use the overlays to copy the study's newly written subgraph values to other charts. Having said that, it would surprise me if you have any studies with long enough processing time for there to be a meaningful difference in performance either way you go. |
