Quick Review. Thank you my lack of chart data via Rhithmic seems to have been solved with your suggestion to go to a setting of 60 in the Data Trade Service Settings. Would going higher to say 80 be a better setting? Since making that change and fixing that problem, I have experienced a few inexplicable - but troubling issues. 1. On any chart, if I wish to change a setting in the Chart Settings Box, and I hit apply Sierra completely locks up and when I click on the chart or on the Master Menu on the gray background... I hear a 'ding' sound. For this reason I would NOT be able to send you a Message Log... I tried to no avail. The only way to EXIT Sierra in this situation, is a hard shut down via the Task Manager. 2. If I wish to create any new charts or charts in a new chartbook, the MENU FEATURE above the chart, that reads... Edit, Chart, Analysis...etc is not there. The setting for 'Show Chart Menu,' is already on because many of my other charts have those menu options showing. This issue seems to occur on its own (now occurring inside some of my EXISTING chartbooks as many of my existing charts are now converting - on their own - to this unacceptable form.) If I attempt to create more than seven or eight Chartbooks, in those - all the charts are missing the menu options. |

Would going higher to say 80 be a better setting? The default would be 186. Yes higher is fine.1. When you see this condition press the Escape key on your keyboard and see if you get out of that condition. 2. Make certain the menu is enabled . We never advise to remove the menu. If you are not seeing it must have been removed or must be an operating system level problem. This is not a Sierra Chart issue at all. Users are either removing the menu, or there is some operating system level issue. There is never a problem with menus in Sierra Chart for any other reason. If I attempt to create more than seven or eight Chartbooks, in those - all the charts are missing the menu options. We think you are pushing Windows beyond its capabilities.
