Hello, My Sierra platform receives today data from Rithmic Trader Pro and my orders go through it as well. It has worked well during the past few weeks. Today, it does not anymore. If I place an order, it cannot be moved nor cancelled. It turns out that it does not reach the Rithmic Trader Pro Platform (where an order could be placed. I verified that it's possible). You are having a connectivity issue. Check your Message Log to see if there is anything specific in there about why you are having a connection problem. Again, what this is telling us is that you are having a problem connecting to the Rithmic server that you have selected. If you can select a different server, we would recommend that to see if it alleviates the issue. There is nothing we can do from our end, it is a network connectivity issue.

We are not observing any connection issues in the log data that you provided but this is not the right log to determine that definitively. Although indirectly it does indicate a connection is successful. So you are no longer having a problem? Possibly the Trade Account identifier is too long. This could potentially be a problem. Thank you. As a matter of fact it still does not work although I thought it was. I receive correctly the data from Rithmic, but my orders are rejected. I have just found that the trading account number which shows up on the TRADE WINDOW (scroll domn menu) is not the right one. It corresponds to an oldest experience. How can I reset this number and input the new one please ? Thanks |

Having progressed in the understanding of the issue I am having, here is what I have found. I receive correctly the data from Rithmic but cannot place orders. The reason is that the TRADING ACCOUNT number (which is present on the Rithmic Trader Pro platform), does not show-up on the Sierra Chart platform, as it was doing during a previous experiment. Therefore it brings me back to my earlier question: How can I transfer this Trading Account number (manually or automatically ) into Sierra ? Thank you in advance to provide me with this information.
