hello, so this morning i received an email from sierra that "Upgraded Connectivity for Transact Users". then there was a link to a thread that there will be no support to transact clients. the thread has started a month ago, but i have not received any information before. BUT right now my charts are not working and sierra play important role in my analysis for my trades. so i wanted to know is this now a transact issue or sierra issue that my charts are not working? AND would you not consider that all clients should be informed in advance before such events happen (not supporting transact)? i am long-time customer for sierra and have paid a lot of money for your charting services. And as a professional day trader not having a possibility to trade right now costs me a lot of money. so is there a way to put me on sim mode so i can use charts while there is a switching period from transact to stage5?

The connectivity problem you have to transact is a transact issue. We would not deny those connections. We have no ability to block those connections. And at most the plan is to simply remove support for Transact at some point in the future in newer versions. Not older versions. So there is a very staged approach, for discontinuing support for Transact which happens over time. AND would you not consider that all clients should be informed in advance before such events happen (not supporting transact)?
We did not cause the issue. This is a transact issue. And this is only affirming why we want to remove support for transact. You will have plenty of notice, about transact support being discontinued which we have given. But this current problem has nothing to do with Sierra Chart. What you can do for now, is follow the instructions below. To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions.
Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services". Press "OK" And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service) You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service. And then follow the instructions here to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* You will then have access to our real-time data.
