This may be related to a change to CQG data processing that we later undid. Therefore, the first thing is to update to the latest Pre-Release and see if you continue to have the problem. You can update by following these instructions (again, make sure you update to the latest Pre-Release):
Software Download: Fast Update

You will need to delete any older data that shows this problem and redownload it by following these instructions (you just need to do this once per symbol):
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Retrying the Download When There is Data in the Chart

Another possibility is that you are using a Daily or higher timeframe in which case you are using historical data, which does not contain Ask/Bid information, therefore the Numbers Bars study will not work properly with this data.

Hi John, thank you. The zeros occur during the time my SC is closed down, and does not update when I open SC and update, but it works as long as I am connected.

I am updated with the very last pre-release too.

Thank you

As a matter of policy we do not provide support for CQG data. You need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Information and instructions:

Ok but is this coming from the data or the software part? It works well when the platform is connected and not when it is turned off, and doesn't update when logged in when it used to work fine until 2 days ago.

You really should not have a problem accessing the tick by tick data from CQG in the latest prerelease. We double checked.

Update instructions:
Software Download: Fast Update

And refer to:
Data Errors or Spikes in Charts, Flat or Flat Line Graph, Compressed Graph, Errors with Date/Time Values: 2.1.2 Deleting and Re-downloading Data. (Easier and Recommended Method)
