I have been going through the support boards and I believe I have the information I need. I am looking for confirmation. I trade options related to US equities and the SPX. I only need Sierra for the charting of the underlying equities, not the options. I will execute all orders in thinkorswim (TD Ameritrade). I believe I need package 11 or 12 which, once the new NASDAQ exchange feed is online, will provide me all of the information I need. Is this correct? Thank you.

You need to be on Package 10, 11, or 12 once the new NASDAQ feed is available. You will also then need to activate the particular exchange for the data and pay for that exchange (which will be free the first month). We will post Setup Instructions when the data feed is available. But if you are not needing any data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, then you do not need to be on Package 10, 11, or 12 until you are ready to start getting the data. You can always switch at any time to any other package - we adjust the end-date of your Usage Time when you make a change. So you should start on Package 3 or 5 depending on your needs. To see the differences in the packages, refer to the information here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you, I am coming to the end of my free trial. I guess I will sign up for package 5, then upgrade to 11 when the NASDAQ feed is online.

I saw with your recent update that the NASDAQ feed is looking good. I signed up for package 11 with the hopes of using it to chart US equities and $SPX. I was messing around with the charts and I was able to pull up equity symbols but not $SPX. Will that ability open up once the NASDAQ feed is online? I do not have a verified trading account with a supported service. I am able to trade SPX with TD Ameritrade, I just want to chart it with Sierra Chart.

The new NASDAQ feed is not yet available. We just have it working internally. Therefore, the data you are getting is from our existing implementation for the U.S. Equities. The $SPX index is part of the CBOE Indices. In order to get any data for this symbol, you need to pay for it. If you want to get this data, you will need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and enable the CBOE Indices exchange. Refer to the information at the following link (which includes Setup Instructions): Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed For any of these, you do not need a verified trading account. That requirement is just for CME Group data. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Ok, since I mainly trade the SPX I would like to do that. I just signed up for package 11. Can it be converted from Denali feed to Sierra exchange? Once I switch feeds, I will enable the CBOE.

If you do not need to be on Package 11 (using the Denali Exchange Data Fee or using Rithmic for order routing) then you can change your package back to Package 5 at any time. So there is nothing we need to do in terms of changing your account. You have complete control over this. To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link. Or go to this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation You will need to login if you are not currently logged in. In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button. The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price. There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted. When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to. When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time. ---- You can then setup the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed at any time. Again, the Setup Instructions can be found here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
