Ive changed my data trade service settings to IB in order to be able to trade from the chart (exclusively used IB platform for trade execution until now), but it messed with some of my charts in an unexpected way, also not sure about the quality of data from IB. Is is possible to keep data service set to Sierra , but trade my IB account through Sierra? I did update symbols as required btw, that wasn't the problem. Thanks. |

What you are wanting to do should be the situation you have. The only reason you would not be getting the data from us is if the setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds was set to No. Please double-check that this is set to Yes, in which case your data would be coming from the Denali Exchange Data Feed and you should not see anything different in the charts just due to connecting to IB. Let us know what exactly has changed in the chart and give us a screenshot showing the issue (if you can). For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

@User283743 I use IB myself with Sierrachart and Denali datafeed. It works really well. Yes you can trade the IB account directly from Sierrachart using the Denali datafeed. I would not recommend using IB data feed due its the very poor quality. I find the Denali datafeed of excellent quality and beyond reasonable price. |
