How do you change the open & close dates for higher-term timeframe bars (e.g., 2-day, 5-day, weekly, bi-weekly etc.)?

Right now my cryptocurrency charts are all out of whack because they are opening and closing on the wrong dates/days of the week.

See pic #1, this is what the BTC weekly chart looks like in Sierra (inaccurate representation of data) while Pic #2, is the accurate representation of the BTC weekly chart in TradingView.

In NinjaTrader the solution was just to start loading the data from the correct day of the week, not sure what it is in Sierra.

Thanks!

In order to control a timeframe like 2 days, you would have to load your data using a specific start date to ensure that the 2 days were the way you want them.

But for items like weekly or monthly, where you have a specific selection option in the Chart Settings, then this is done automatically. Given this, we are not sure what the issue is that you are seeing with the weekly bars in the image you provided. The week starts on Sunday as is the standard week for most countries.

If you want the week to start on Monday, then refer to the following setting:
General Settings Window: Use Monday as Start of Week instead of Sunday (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Data)
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

I need the weekly chart to start on Monday, as this is what is required for Binance data to be presented properly on the weekly and bi-weekly.

I figured out a solution though. If you change the "Historical Chart Bar Period" to "7-days" instead of "1-week" and use "Use Date Range" instead of "Use Number of Days To Load" and then set the first date in the date range to a Monday, this works (see attached pic of my settings).

If there's an easier way to change the start date day of the week for the weekly and bi-weekly please let me know!

Refer to the last sentence in our previous response. Here it is again:
