Is there a setting that enables Drawing Tools to be anchored BETWEEN two bars, where the anchor point is represented on the chart as specified in the Drawing tool property? I have only seen it be aligned to the nearest bar. Example: I set an anchor for a DRAWING_TEXT to be at 10:04:45, but on a one-minute chart it is anchored to the 10:04 bar. On a 10 minute chart, the drawing is anchored at 10:00 bar. I would prefer to see it appear more exact, such as, 75% beyond the 10:04 bar on the one-minute chart, and 7.5% beyond the 10:00 bar on the ten-minute chart. This would be very helpful when re-sizing the charts and seeing exactly where events occur within a given period. Thanks Doug |

I would like to know if this is possible as well. I did see this documentation which makes it seem not possible. Can someone please confirm yeah or nay? Lines/Rays or Other Chart Drawings Move After Drawing Them: How Chart Drawings Are Mapped Between Bars with Different Starting Date-Times |

You are asking for the ability to place a drawing anywhere between one bar (10:04) and the next bar (10:05). You can either place a drawing based on index or time. It will not approximate a time less than the bar period. I did see this documentation which makes it seem not possible. Can someone please confirm yeah or nay?
I say: "Nay".

It is "Nay". Drawings are aligned to the Bars and there is not a way to place an anchor between bars. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
