Trying to figure out all the details of external data feeds. I only want to use charting for Sierra and do not want to trade thru the software. So I want the Denali feed for charting. To get the CME non professional rate do I just connect to my IB acct once a month or how does that work?

What is stated above is correct. In order to get the data from the CME Group at the non-professional exchange rates, you need to prove that you have a live, funded, futures trading account. If you are not going to stay connected to that account, then you need to connect once a month to it to prove that you still have the account. Ok. Can I leave IB connected to Sierra all the time but Denali will still populate the charts? For example, on NinjaTrader I can have two data feeds connected but one is running the charting and one is just for trading.

Yes, you can leave the system connected to IB and just leave it in SIM mode. You would not need to do the once a month connection in this case, as you are always connected.
