unable to view more dates and missing months in data

hi, My data was missing between 11th march and 10th june 2021, so I was going through you help links trying to sort it but couldnt' solve it, but now data only goes back 26th Sept for some reason, I read through link on this Unable to increase date range in chart settings I tyr to change the date range in file to see if that helps but it seems to be stuck on 2021-08-24 Its set to continuous contract volume based back adjusted and I've checked there are no dates excluded on the advanced settings global settings max data is on 500 i tried delecting all data and redownloading too Data is for the main futures indices. Any ideas what I can do, bit stuck now! thanks |

CQG does not send data for previous contracts. Therefore, you are not going to be able to get the data from them. The only good solution is to use the Sierra Chart Data Feeds for your data. We have historical data back to 1970 in cases. That seem crazy CQG don't do that! Okay, so if I select package 11 for 6months 20% discount (I'm currently on package 5 for 6months) and click update will it only charge me the difference? Just trialling the 30 day evaluation of the top package and then will upgrade. thanks |

I clicked the evaluate package 12, can't seem to load the SC data feed, says denali not activated. Also says my account is classed as professional but I've been connected to the CQG data feed through AMP account so I would have thought it wouldn't say this? (as per one sierra webpage says log in to your trading account once a month) Do you know what I need to do to make it non-professional account? And then when I've made it non professional how do I activate the denali feed just for the one month free evaluation? As I'm not sure about whether to go on package 12 or 11 yet, do i just pick package 11 for now? thanks |

Selecting the option to evaluate Package 12 does not give you access to the Denali Exchange Data Feed. You would have to be on a paid package. Keep in mind, when you change packages, you do not get charged the difference, just the end-date shifts in or out depending on whether the package is more or less expensive. To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link. Or go to this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation You will need to login if you are not currently logged in. In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button. The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price. There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted. ---------------------------------- In order to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed, you need to go through the Setup Instructions at the following link: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* Those instructions will tell you when to change your package. So I have linked my AMP account number to sierra chart, it says it is linked but verification status says 'not verified' and my account is classed as professional still. Do I just need to wait a day or so for it to be verified first? (I have over $200 in the AMP account) thanks for your help! |

Did AMP send you information for a CQG account? If so, then you need to connect to that CQG account in order to validate the account. Yes and I've been using CQG data on Sierra, I've tried both my AMP account number and my CQG username. I have even emailed AMP asking what my CQG account number is and they have emailed me back the same account number I have tried to enter. Not sure what else I can do?

AMP have just got back to me to confirm I am enabled too, as i asked them: Thank you, I'm trying to connect my AMP account to sierra chart, but it's not working when I enter my account number, on sierra it says To use Sierra Chart with CQG requires that you have a CQG account which has the following enablement: The Sierra Chart Connection Mode with the SierraChartData private label. Please can you verify if this is enabled for me? |

Since you are setup with CQG, you need to connect to that CQG account by following these instructions: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions The AMP Trading Account Verification will not work since they have set you up with CQG. I've followed those instructions as you sent the link earlier, on global settings I have entered the CQG username and password and I am using CQG real time data right now, but I want to sign up to the denali exchange with an non-professional, but my account still says professional account. If I open the trade window it shows my account number, so why am I still classed as professional?? What am I missing here?? |
