Hi, I have two questions about moving drawing tools. 1) For the regression channel tool. Once drawn, with a specific length, is it possible to move it and it automaticaly adjusts (on the fly, as you move it) according to values on its chart region? 2) For the parallel lines tool, the only way I find to move it is by moving both ends of it, one at a time, and it is not practical at all. Is there a way to move it freely across the chart, once it is created? Thank you for your attention TF |

1) There is not an option to do this. 2) What you are wanting to do is how it functions when you select the Move option, so we are not understanding what you are doing. When you select Move for the Parallel Lines, it will move both lines together, as they were initially set. This works the same as the Regression Channel that you were asking in #1. It sounds like you are selecting the Adjust option not the Move option. 2) Thank you for your help. I was trying to move it using a non existing intuitve mouse move option. As I understand, the only way to do it, is the non-intuitive right click and selecting the Move option. It works. But nonetheless, it is a (minor) glitch in the UI. Hope you'll look into it in near versions. It easily fixable and very helpful. |

There are two ways to select the drawing for moving it. One is the right-click and select "Move" option. The other is to have the setting for Tools >> Tool Settings >> Support Left Click to Select Chart Drawings set to Yes and then when the selected tool is not a drawing, you can select the drawing with a left-click, and depending on where you select it, it will either be in Adjust or Move mode (if you click by an anchor point, it will adjust, otherwise, it moves). Refer to the information here: Chart Drawing Tools: Support Left Click to Select Chart Drawings (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Tool Options) And also here: Chart Drawing Tools: Move Drawing ------------------- We are not sure what "glitch in the UI" you are referring to. We need more information on what you are seeing (or not seeing).
