At the beginning of the year we were back and forth as to why it is really uneconomical to me to be double charged the pro fees for the Denali exchange... and you guys resolved it so this would not be the policy... Has this changed? Why? Thanks, RLW |

We do not have control over market data policy from the CME which is absolutely horrible. We do not have any solution. And there would never will be until there is viable competition to the CME. We recommend that you use Sierra Chart exclusively for your trading and do not rely upon other sources for software and market data. We see you are using CQG. We are not sure why you would have to pay exchange fees through CQG. We also have direct order routing to the CME now available. So you can use that instead of CQG and we will have more information in the coming days. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thank you for being so direct. When I look at my charts, I see a gap in data... Is that because starting at a certain date I don't get Denali data at all? So, I should stop paying the $25/month for Denali, if I don't sign up for the CME pro fees? Thanks. |

We apologize for the delay. We are checking on this. And you are not paying $25 a month for the Denali Data Feed. It is 10 USD a-month before discount.

Recently, there was a change with historical data for CQG, where when using a Service Package which includes the Denali Exchange Data Feed, historical Intraday data only comes from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, when using CQG, only when using Service Package 12. Not on Service Packages 10 or 11. And in your particular case the most recent 10 minutes of data would still come from CQG. We have set your account for service package 12, at no cost, for one month. Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart. Thank you for the explanation and the month of Service Package 12. Just to close the loop, 12 looks like 11 plus MBO, and I won’t use MBO… so is there a technical reason I have to use 12? Thanks again. |
