Hi, I am on the OUP 14 day trial, and trying to connect Rithmic. I have followed their instructions and done a 20 minute remote access session with their support, but it won't connect. I have pasted the message log below... You need to follow these instructions to connect to Rithmic using the new DTC interface that they have implemented: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks, it worked and I now have live data, but I have no historical data - it just begins from the moment of connection onwards? I have set 186 days per instructions in the data service settings, and I have 30 days for the 'days to display/load' in the chart settings... I have also set the continuous data on the second tab of the chart settings too. How do I get the data to display prior to the time of connection, so I can view levels from prior days etc? |

This is a limitation of the data from Rithmic. The only solution is to use the data from us (Sierra Chart) where we have the historical data. Refer to the information here: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The problem is I have to use Rithmic for the OneUpTrader account evaluation/combine, or is it possible to use your data for charting, but still trade through the charts via the Rithmic connection?

You can use our data and trade through Rithmic. The only "issue" is if you are wanting CME Group data, as the CME Group has the requirement that in order to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees, you have to have a live, funded, futures trading account and you need to verify it at least once a month. We do this by having you connect your Sierra Chart to your live account at least once a month. The OneUpTrader account does not count as a live trading account. For more information, refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges If you do not have a live trading account, then we recommend the following solution: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Great, thanks. 1) So how do I connect to Denali for data/charting, but Rithmic for trading? I only have one choice in the data/trade service settings window. 2) So if I go for the AMP/Stage5 solution you recommend, what would the cost be for the mini Nasdaq only please? I already subscribe to Denali for Eurex and have the advanaced package of Sierra etc, so all I need is mini Nasdaq added. Thanks in advance! |

1) This is how Sierra Chart is setup to work. Whatever service you have set to is your trading and data unless you are using the data from us, in which case you get the data from us, and the service is just used for trading. The one setting that affects this is the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Other Settings) Also, refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services 2) The cost for the Mini Nasdaq would be either $1.25 (CME Top of Book Non-Professional) or $10.40 (CME with Market Depth for Non-Professionals). For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

1) OK perfect, so I can use my current Denali subscription then, with CME added, then trade and route all trades through Rithmic via OneUp? 2) What is the difference - what does top of book mean please? I use Numbers Bars, Delta, volume profiles etc, so which one would I need? Thanks again! |

1) Yes, as long as you get that live account with AMP setup, you will be fine to do trade through Rithmic via OneUp while using the Denali Exchange Data Feed. 2) Top of Book means just the Level 1 (Best Bid and Best Ask) market depth data. The Market Depth shows you the size of the limit orders at each price waiting for the price to move in that direction. None of the items you specify that you use rely on the Market Depth data. But again, some people just like to see the numbers in the DOM, so it is something you need to decide on. With the EUREX data, you do have the full Market Depth data, as it is not an option with that data feed. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

In the link it says AMP or Stage5 - is there a preference, or is one easier/quicker to setup than the other, and/or tends to work better with Sierra?
