Can't Download Data from IB

I am not receiving data for oil futures from Interactive Brokers. I am using SC 2296. Everything was working fine last night at ~11:00PM EST.

My screen is frozen and displays "Waiting to download historical data". My IB connection is working. Something is amiss. Help please!

Make sure you have the IB software running and that you are getting data to that software.

If Sierra Chart has stopped working altogether, in that you can not interact with it and do anything, then you will need to stop Sierra Chart and restart it.

But if Sierra Chart is not completely locked up, then check your Message Log to see if there are any errors that may explain what is happening. Also, try opening a new chart for a symbol like ES and see if you are able to get the data into that chart.

Hmm, From my experience with IB, its better to ask for fewer intraday days to download ( in the data/trade service setup ) . Also try to change the symbol to see if it's only that symbol.

For me, at first, I took only IB data. But after a while, I decided to take a data feed from Sierra chart, and all my Download/data problems were gone.

Do not waste your time or our time with Interactive Brokers extremely substandard data and systems. Use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data:

Regarding post #3 you are not receiving CME or EUREX data from Sierra Chart. You need to activate the exchanges here if you need those exchanges:
