Hi, I have a lot of charts in my Sierra chartbook and use a variety of other programs in my trading such as a news monitoring program. I like to hotkey as much as I can and one thing I'm trying to figure out is if there is a way to "grab" the symbol ticker off a chart and perhaps put it in the clipboard memory so that I can easily hotkey paste that symbol into my news program. Is there perhaps a method that would then allow me to "ctrl-c" copy the chart symbol? The closest workaround I've been able to think of is to link a quote board to every chart and by inputting the symbol into the quote board, I can then hotkey grab the symbol from the quoteboard to paste into my news program when needed. Anybody have an idea that is more elegant? Thank You.
