Ok. Great. I went ahead and Deleted All Data and Download and that worked on most symbols.

You are correct about the cash Forex they need to be fixed.

Yes, I keep getting messages on the Historical Daily Charts, which has slowed down the charts coming up.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your professionalism.

I'll check in the morning for the fixes.

This will be solved. It also involves some authorization problem with your account through the Barchart system. But it will be solved. We already have contacted them with the details.

We will have a new release out tomorrow to solve this one.

The problem with historical Daily data downloading for your account was resolved earlier today. You should not have any trouble with that any longer. You can bring all of your charts up-to-date by selecting Edit >>Download Data for All Historical Charts.

We have now implemented support in the latest prerelease to download historical cash Forex data from the Sierra Chart server.

Update Sierra Chart according to the instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

After the update enable Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Support Alternate Forex Historical Data.

When this option is enabled, any IB -CASH- symbol for the main Forex crosses, will now get data from the Sierra Chart server. This provides more history and better downloading performance.

Hi,

I wanted to follow up on getting the messages on the Historical Charts, which slows down the charts coming up. Has this been fixed because I'm still getting it?

Also, has the cash Forex been fixed as well or what do I have to do?

This has been going on for over a year, which I was not getting adequate service with my charts. I was at the point of finding another service, but I gave it a last chance and thanks that you have been able to get it working at least 80%. I would like to know if I could get 3 months of service to offset not having the ability to use the charts?

I would appreciate it.

Restart Sierra Chart and follow through the instructions given. Be sure to update to the latest prerelease. The version number has not changed but we added support for historical Forex data from Sierra Chart servers

No. This is not possible. We cannot be paying for Interactive Brokers limitations and issues.

Once these steps are done are the charts supposed to have the M indicating getting data from SC?

I downloaded the prerelease and the charts don't have the M and continue to show the message Historical Charts.
