SC Team - I am running 2 instances on the same computer - with "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" - Yes 1 - equities feed (IB / Sierra Exchange) 2 - Sierra Order routing(Denali) I keep getting constant messages like this. Though both the instances the feed seems to work - these error messages are NOT stopping. I tried to reboot the machine and it works for some time and then again notice these messages non-stop. Could you please review? PS: I have VXX data from instance 1 -> instance 2 set through data sharing, I get these errors in Instance 2 (Sierra Order Routing instance). In this condition When I launch the 3rd instance(denali - SC All Data Services) - I don't receive these messages in that instance. This seems to be an issue specific to VXX data sharing between instances. I remember reading something about not able to share the data between instances and wondering if I am running into that issue with sharing VXX data from instance 1 -> instance 2. If this is no longer supported - would like to know how to share the data from equities instance -> denali instance. As a workaround this is what I did: Made total of 3 instances: Instance 1 - SC All Data Services (Denali & SC Exchange Data) - which serves both Denali & Equities data - "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" - Yes Instance 2 - SC Order Routing service(Denali) (this shares VXX data from Instance 1) - "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" - Yes Instance 3 - IB - This shares VXX & equities data from Instance 1 - "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" - No Hopefully this works without any interruptions. SC Team - Could you please suggest is this the way to use going forward? Mainly interested in sharing the VXX data between 2 instances(equities & futures order routing) and would prefer a native way for equities using Sierra Exchange data rather than sharing it through rather than through another sierra instance. Hoping the upcoming NASDAQ feed through Denali would resolve this issue as Denali allows 2 connections from same machine rather than the current limitation of a single connection with Sierra Exchange data for equities. Now I am in a situation - unable to get the ES CME data through instance sharing in IB instance(As support for Sierra Exchange data is disabled in IB instance). Tried various options. Could you please provide the custom symbol settings I need to use in IB instance. Here is what I have tried so far. <settings>
<symbol>ES-######-GLOBEX</symbol> <historical-chart-symbol>ES?##-CME</historical-chart-symbol> <underlying-symbol>ES?##-CME</underlying-symbol> <time-zone>CST-06CDT+01,M3.2.0/02:00,M11.1.0/02:00</time-zone> <intraday-start-time>17:00:00</intraday-start-time> <intraday-stop-time>15:59:59</intraday-stop-time> <use-evening-session-times>false</use-evening-session-times> <start-new-daily-bar-at-start-time>true</start-new-daily-bar-at-start-time> <new-daily-bar-start-time>17:00:00</new-daily-bar-start-time> <rt-commission>4</rt-commission> <sc-data-symbol>ES?##-CME</sc-data-symbol> <generic-sub-client-server-address>127.0.0.1:12000</generic-sub-client-server-address> <historical-data-server>127.0.0.1:13000</historical-data-server> <historical-daily-data-source>SC_DTC_HISTORICAL_DATA_SERVER</historical-daily-data-source> <realtime-data-client>Generic_Sub_Clients</realtime-data-client> </settings> Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-07-01 16:04:06

It takes a lot of time for us to look at these and analyze them. We just have not had time to get to this yet. This is one of the things we were going to say: Hoping the upcoming NASDAQ feed through Denali would resolve this issue as Denali allows 2 connections from same machine rather than the current limitation of a single connection with Sierra Exchange data for equities.

Thank you. In the meantime - can you please answer this? Is it possible to share ES data from SC All Data Services instance to IB? If so could you please share a custom symbol template for it? This is the only open question. Thanks |

SC team - Could you please provide a custom symbol that can be used for sharing the data from SC All Data Services instance to IB instance? Tried several ways to get this working but not successful so far. Thanks |
