[Programming Help] - Global Variables and Sharing between chartbooks/instances

Hi Support, I am using global variables in my study. I understand now that if I use the same study in different instances of SC the global variables will be shared, which is a problem for me. As a solution, can I just rename the CPP file for each instance I am running and then rebuild using the new name, thus creating a new DLL? Or are the global variables shared as long as the variable names are the same, even if the DLLs are different? Thanks
