IN BOTH SUB INSTANCES 2 AND 3 UNLIKELY ,However I did find an open order in the main instance which did solve the issue. although I did think all instances were independent?

There definitely were open orders in that instance. There is no other possibility. The sub instances receive the same orders. Post #21 has been updated above with additional information. Perhaps but I’m not understanding your meaning. But I will enter an order notice in the main instance and see if I get the active order notice upon exiting in the sub instance and of course I’ll remove it and see if the notice doesn’t appear. Then you can decide how to interpret that. Post 21 For the record I’ve translated the symbols with all the chart books open I’ve looked through every chart book and I’ve sign on to CQG and backtrack to Denali and afterwards translated the symbols. Further win has let me delete all Market Depth files that were formatted in the old style so if these old symbols are in use they’re Rey well hidden from both SC and me. FWIW ENTERING AN ORDER IN THE MAIN INSTANCE AND THEN EXITING EITHER SUBINSTANCE TRIGGERS THE "OPEN ORDER NOTICE" DELETING THE ORDER FROM THE MAIN INSTANCE AND THE "NOTICE" FROM THE SUB INSTANCES DURING EXITING DISAPPEARS.

This makes no sense whatsoever. It is not Sierra Chart causing the problem at all. We want you to run Sierra Chart in Safe Mode and do not change it. Do not use any custom studies at this point in time. Refer to: Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode This is not worth the trouble and we cannot continue to help with problems caused by these studies which must be the source of the issue at this point or you had change the symbol to that. Something is causing the issues you are having and it is not Sierra Chart. Do not use any custom studies at all any longer. And also disable custom symbols values by disabling this option: Global Symbol Settings: Use Custom Symbol Settings Values (Global Settings >> Symbol Settings) No longer use any custom symbol settings. "you had change the symbol to that. " I know you can do better You can't possibly think I went through and replaced symbols in 10 charts to"UTES" from NGN21-NYMEX. ALSO I'M SURE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THIS ISSUE. However I don't believe I'm using any custom studies in the trouble chartbook but I did uncheck the "USE custom symbol setting" in the main instance which seemed to have stabilize the sub instance. Plus I unchecked that setting in both sub instances. Now we wait. |
