Hi is it possible to have the data for this indicator to be independent of the chart time period. Let's say Im on a 1 min chart, want MDHG to show real time and be independent of the 1 min time frame. Thank you for all your work G |

You can always have the Real-Time Market Depth data displayed for the current bar by having the Input for Use Last Quantity Instead of Max Quantity for Bars, but this will change all the values to be the Last value, so if you are wanting to see the Max values, this would not work. Market Depth Historical Graph: Use Last Quantity Instead Of Max Quantity For Bars Also, you can display just the Last value after the last bar in the chart by setting these Inputs: - Display Market Depth Quantities After Last Bar: Yes - Depth Quantity Type to Display After Last Bar: Last Depth Refer to the information starting here: Market Depth Historical Graph: Display Market Depth Quantities After Last Bar We are assuming you know how to turn on the Quantity values to be displayed in the MDHG. Thanks John, had those settings already. I guess what I was looking for was a more dynamic MDHG that would update intra bar. I can get some dynamic action on a renko chart, the 1 min chart is static. I guess its called the stacking/pulling of the order book. |

We are not sure exactly what you are looking for. The most recent bar is going to constantly update with the changing Market Depth data as long as you are set to view the Last data. If you are viewing the Max data, then will not update with every change, only if a volume is larger than the last stored Max value. If you are looking for something else, let us know.

Hi, I apologize, my thought processes were not well formed. Would it be possible to get MDHG down to lower time frames, such as milliseconds or nanoseconds? Thank you for all your work, G |

The MDHG is updating at the rate set by the Chart Update Interval. The lowest this setting can go is 10 milliseconds (the human eye works at a 60Hz rate, which is about 16 milliseconds, so anything less than that can not be discerned). Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) If you are asking about creating bars that are Milliseconds or Nanoseconds, then that is not supported at this time.
