SC,

After upgrading SC to the latest build I seem to have having issues with expanding and compacting the profiles while right clicking and choosing letter/blocks in Own Column. If I choose this it will expand but if I go back and choose it again and will not revert back... I have to hit reset all profiles to get it to return. In the past I have always been able to basically check and uncheck too go back in forth. Maybe it not the update maybe its something I have changed???

Thanks,

Doug

We just tried this on the latest build and we are not having any issue. Selecting Letter/Blocks in Own Column puts them into their own column, and then right clicking on that same profile and selecting Letter/Blocks in Own Column resets the profile back to the "standard view".

Therefore, we really do not know why you would be having an issue with this. The simplest thing is that you are clicking in an area not related to the TPO that was put into individual columns. Or perhaps you did all of the profiles, which would then not allow for the combining back for an individual profile.

If you still have an issue with this, then attach the chartbook you have and we will take a look.

Ya I have been doing that for years and know what you mean, but all the sudden it is not working...
I have attached my chartbook for analysis.

Thanks

The reason you are not able to collapse the items that are in their own columns is because you the chart setup to have BOTH Standard and Letters/Blocks in Own Column. Therefore, to do what you want, you would first need to undo the setting to have both of the setups.

I understand what you are saying and what I sent you might have had the last profile on show both standard and own column. But that is not my issue.
Let me give you some examples of what is going on.
1. Right click on last profile and pick both standard and own column. it switches too that (exactly what is expected) then right click on it again and hit the same thing to basically uncheck it. That does not work stays exactly as it is and is still checked. that has never happened to me before.
2. go to next profile over which is the last overnight profile. I right click and hit letters/block in own column. it switches too that (exactly what is expected) but when I right click again and uncheck what happens next is it then reverts to two profiles one standard and one own column. very strange. again this has never happened before. been using these tools for years and this is different. If you are not able to recreate it with my chartbook on your system then let me know I can try and make a video of it maybe.

What does reset tpo chart do for me???

Thanks,

Doug

When we open your chart, this is what we see:
http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1621452255932.png

It has all the TPOs displayed as both "Standard" and "Letters/Blocks in own Columns".

But, when we reset it and follow through what you are stating, we see the same thing you are seeing. We will see what we can do about this, as we do see some inconsistencies. Still, the main thing you need to use is the Reset All Profiles to Standard Profile. This will allow you to get back to a "standard" view and then adjust again from there as necessary.
