I just tried to set up the Prem for the Dow futures minus the Dow Cash Index using the CDF, US30 symbol. I followed all the directions carefully, but when I open an Intraday Chart, a chart does not appear.
I also tried to get the Prem for the ES futures, and that one at least opened a chart and said it downloaded the data, but the chart was blank.

We just tried the symbol you were creating and did not have any issues with it. Did you follow all the instructions to create the custom symbol as defined here:
Custom Calculated Symbols: Instructions

Also, the symbols that you used for YM is not correct unless you are connected to the Trading Evaluator. You need to use the same symbol that you would use to open that symbol given whatever Service you have selected.

Also make sure you have access to the CFD symbol. If you are setup to connect to CQG, then you may not get that data.

Looks like you are using CQG , so the symbol you are using is definitely not correct. The left part of the symbol must be the CQG symbol. And you do have access to CFD data when using CQG.
