I am currently having issues pulling up a chart/DOM for 2 symbols I like to trade - ZN and ZB. CQG has odd names of course - F.US.TYA and F.US.USA. Both symbols show a "Symbol is unknown" when pulled up. I probably have a setting wrong for my account but if you could direct me how to fix I would greatly appreciate it. I have already tried the [EDIT >> Translate symbols to current Service] I do not believe the symbols are incorrect - they are the correct CQG symbols. When I try to open these charts or DOM I get two notices in orange and red boxes. 1. Symbol is Unknown - Real Time data for instrument are not allowed. 2. Download Failed - Real Time data for instrument are not allowed. |

The problem is that those symbols are traded on the CBOT exchange, but you have only activated the CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts exchange within the Denali Exchange Data Feed. If you want just the CBOT data with market depth, then you would need to activate the CBOT with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts. Just keep in mind that you will be charged the full amount for the remainder of the month. Thanks for the info John. I appreciate all the responses. As I learn the system, I continue to discover questions. If I should direct them elsewhere please let me know. Many are covered on the forum already, so I appreciate that. I am trying to display the "buy order column" on the DOM instead of the "Bid/Size Buy Column". For some reason it is not populating data in the DOM (Bid/Size Column is populating fine). Any ideas why that would be? |

There are three different options for the Buy/Bid columns (and the same for Sell/Ask). They are the following: - Buy Order Column: Just allows you to place orders and shows your orders. - Bid Size Column: Displays the Market Depth Data only. - Bid Size/Buy Column: Displays the Market Depth Data and allows you to enter orders. The trick is that either the Buy Order Column or the Bid Size/Buy Column must be present but only one can be there at a time. They basically replace each other. Refer to the information in this section for each of these columns: Global Trade Settings Windows: Chart/Trade DOM Column Descriptions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
