I have just subscribed to SC real time data as IB is too slow to load. All worked fine until now, the QuoteBoard + Time and Sales have no data. Its after hours but the charts are still updating, so feed is working. I did not have this problem with IB.

Update - now I have noticed it is not updating the charts either. Does the real time feed provide after hour quotes? Trading is open for another hour but SC feed is not updating? Is this normal or an error? Many thanks |

Non of the symbols are updating (apart from UK which are probably coming from IB since I cannot get any UK prices from SC). Attached is a screen shot with SC real time turned on and one with IB only. You can see that there are no prices with SC but there are when I turn off SC and just have IB. To get it to work after starting up I have to switch off SC support, disconnect data feed, reconnect with IB only then I can turn SC back on. This seems to be working just now. Thanks BTW - I am a huge fan of SC and have been for over 10 years. Tried other charting packages but just cannot beat SC on charting, TPO and VP. |

I have sent the message log. The problem seems to be that Quote Board will not show prices unless I have turned off the Sierra Chart feed support. If I do this the prices appear. Then I can reconnect to SC feed. However, today I noticed having got it all running there were still some not updating. e.g. it would load WKEY prices quickly (meaning it was using IB). Time + Sales seemed to be fine but not charts/QB. I had to turn SC feed off again, disconnect, reconnect and turn SC back on. |

Sounds like you may be encountering a symbol subscription limit. You need to check the Window >> Message Log for the symbol that is not receiving data to see if there is any errors with the request. Otherwise, the behavior you are describing really makes absolutely no sense as to why it would even be happening. Or you could be running into symbol conflicts. That would be a better explanation. We recommend using a separate installation of Sierra Chart with the SC Exchange Data Feed and not involving Interactive Brokers at all.
