Hello i seemed to have created the ticket on friday but don't see it now in my threads so will try again. on friday on my trading evaluator account at 9:52am there were 9 market orders on PL that weren't sent by me. i wasn't looking and got back to the screen thinking it's an alert sound - turned out it was orders filling sound and flattening button didn't work at once. there's no way that something touched the keyboards or screen to send these market orders, no live creatures live with me. i didn't even have an alert there and obviously these were no limit or stop orders to get filled. i didn't find where trade service log is saved to attach it but attaching the screenshot that i saved with part of trade service log and trade activity log. please let me know what could have caused this. thanks in advance |

Refer to the information here to determine the origin of those orders: Trade Activity Log Analysis: Determining the Origin of a New/Modified Order If you need help, you need to copy the first line for one of the orders in the Trade Activity Log by selecting the line and selecting Edit >> Copy Selection and paste it here. it looks like i've sent them on trade activity log (they don't look different from those i've placed) but as i mentioned it wasn't me, i got back to the screen on hearing the sound of fills. here's the first of them ActivityType DateTime Symbol OrderActionSource InternalOrderID ServiceOrderID OrderType Quantity BuySell Price Price2 OrderStatus FillPrice FilledQuantity TradeAccount OpenClose ParentInternalOrderID PositionQuantity FillExecutionServiceID HighDuringPosition LowDuringPosition Note AccountBalance ExchangeOrderID ClientOrderID Fills 2021-01-29 09:52:46.658 PLJ21 Trading Evaluator order update (Filled). That line is the fill. It is not the originating order. We need to see these lines for the originating order. Refer to: Trade Activity Log Analysis: Determining the Origin of a New/Modified Order Regarding this: maybe there's a way to access trade service log for that date that could help? it was showing "trade order error - trade account settings not found" before this sequence but i don't see a timestamp for it
We got the information from the server for this: Orders 2021-01-29 09:53:03.305 [Sim]PLJ21 Order to flatten Position. Flatten Position. Daily net loss limit has been reached. DailyNetLossLimit=-1500.00. CurrentNetPL=-1550.0255882736208 699035 Market 9 Buy Order Sent ** Close -9 0.00
We will get this issue resolved.

This is now fixed: Trade Order Error - Trade account settings not found
It will not occur again. Confirm you had a position in PLJ21 for -9 contracts? This is what we saw and the reason why there was an attempt to flatten the position due to the daily loss being met but that operation failed to complete due to the above error which is now fixed. i've copied the whole line, OrderActionSourse column shows "Trading Evaluator order update (Filled). Info: Trade simulation fill. Bid: 1096.3 Ask: 1098.0 Last: 1098.0. Text: Tag: 2TargetsWithCommonStop.twconfig" and it doesn't not look different from the orders i've sent myself. but as mentioned i didn't send them and got back to the screen when i heard them being filled and trade log shows they were sent by market. how come? without me? Confirm you had a position in PLJ21 for -9 contracts?
that's what i saw when i looked at the screen. the result for just this position is -1845 and for the day I ended up -2129.60 instead of 1500

Here it is, my time is set to eastern, question about a sequence that started at 9-52am on Friday, Jan 29th - i wasn't even looking but it looks like i was hitting "sell" like crazy considering fills interval. i got back thinking it was an alert and managed to flatten it only after i was actually hitting "flatten" like crazy because it wasn't working. nikanikiforukgmailcom account, PLJ21 instrument
